Dae Sung awarded extension of Heating Fuel Tank Custodian Contract at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst

Dae Sung is about to start the second option year for the Fuel Storage Tank Custodian Services Contract at JB-MDL in New Jersey. Dae Sung was originally awarded the contract in 2016. Under the contract, Dae Sung is responsible for maintaining safe and continuous operations of 147 heating fuel tanks located on the facility. This original contract was for one year with four one-year option periods.

Dae Sung is also delighted to have two very qualified and dedicated individuals working on its team at JB-MDL. Charles Kay and Porter Bute are serving in the roles of Fuel Distribution System Operator (FDSO). Charles previously served as the FDSO for DL MDL Joint Venture (a partnership between Dae Sung and LB&B Associates Inc.). Porter came to Dae Sung from the U.S. Marine Corps, where he held the rank of sergeant.

The contract was awarded by the Department of the Air Force, 87thAir Base Wing (AMC). The winning proposal was submitted by Special Assistant to the COO Jeff Hockman and Dae Sung General Manager Betty Barnes. Both contributed to this article.
