MEL hosts tribal enterprise workshop

Workshop provides real-world training for tribal enterprises

Mandaree Enterprises (MEL) is hosting a free three-day tribal enterprise workshop to help tribes start and grow business enterprises on Aug. 7-9 in Fargo, N.D. The training is conducted by RedWind, a Native-owned company that specializes in small business training for tribal communities.

“We’re proud to partner with SBA to bring this excellent training workshop to North Dakota,” said MEL CEO Clarence O’Berry. “As a long-standing successful tribal enterprise, I think it’s important for us to give back to tribal communities however we can.”

Workshop organizers use a variety of real-world case studies to provide concrete best-practices for tribal enterprises. The goal is to drive real skill and behavior change in participants that they can use to deliver tangible organizational results.
